REID WINSLOW
Crime Fiction Forged in Real Courtrooms
Reid Winslow spent decades as a trial lawyer and prosecutor. His thrillers know exactly how justice bends – and who does the bending.
WHO IS REID WINSLOW
Where fiction meets the courtroom floor
Reid Winslow writes legal thrillers powered by real courtroom experience. Born in Brooklyn and trained as a New York City Assistant District Attorney, he prosecuted cases at the leading edge of early “computer trespass” crime before building a decades-long career as a trial lawyer in the Pacific Northwest.
His debut novel, The Dead Bell, was selected by Kirkus Reviews as one of the 1,000 best independent books of 2022 and praised as “a fabulous, well-researched whodunit,” and bestselling author Phil Margolin called it “an excellent debut.”
Winslow also hosted the radio show LawTalk, where he made the legal system accessible to everyday listeners. He lives in the Inland Northwest with his wife and their two cats.
